A long time ago, I sketched out 8 rough remixes for MGMT – Weekend Wars. Here are few harmless and janky drafts created from the stereo cd mix. The versions I made from the hd multitrack files are pretty tight, but unfortunately they are shelved. Anyway, if you’re into the band like I am, maybe you’ll enjoy these two unmixed album versions + breaks + synths. –P

THE READY CEE SHOW STREETLIGHT is lit up once again and under the beam this time we welcome THE BROWN BAG ALLSTARS to our block! The seeds that are J57, The Audible Doctor, Soul Khan, DJ Element, Koncept & DJ E-Holla are collectively growing into a ripe & raw new apple from New York City ’s underground Hiphop scene and have developed quite a following. Their efforts have garnished them a position in this years 5th annual Brooklyn Hiphop Festival along side greats like DJ Premier, Pharoahe Monch & Grand Puba on June 20th.
